The Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Health Care has engaged Hand Hygiene Australia to implement the National Hand Hygiene Initiative.
One of the activities undertaken is the development of a website as a resource for healthcare workers.
The Hand Hygiene Australia team are pleased to announce their new website is now live at http://www.hha.org.au/
The website includes:
- information about Hand Hygiene Australia and objectives
- information about Hand Hygiene and why it is important
- an explanation of the 5 Moments with examples
- information about alcohol based hand rubs
- upcoming Workshops
- the HHA Manual and various tools to assist with education
- a list of Frequently Asked Questions
- promotional posters (and we welcome any other posters people would like to share)
- 'Contact us' page where viewers can provide us with feedback or ask questions.
Still under construction is the Consumers section which we are currently working on.
Also in development at the moment is the Online Learning Package which will have its own section within the website.
